# Singularity Day

> A pixel mosaic of 10,000 AI startups. Each startup pays once to claim one cell with its logo and a link; the cells fill from the outer edge inward, converging on a single point at the center labeled "AGI".

## How it works

1. A startup submits its name, website, short description, logo, and category at https://www.singularityday.live/claim.
2. It pays once by card (Stripe Checkout). The price depends on how many cells are already claimed when it buys, and only ever goes up.
3. A human reviews the submission, usually within a day. Approved startups appear in the mosaic and the directory; rejected ones are refunded in full.
4. Cells fill from the outer edge inward, so the center -- the "AGI" point -- is the last to fill.

## Background

The technological singularity is the hypothetical moment AI surpasses human intelligence and begins improving itself faster than people can follow. Ray Kurzweil has predicted 2045. The mosaic is a small, literal version of that idea: independent points, each one an AI company, converging visually on a single point.
